Jennifer Lopez has played moms in movies, but the singer/actress tells "Extra" that she's gotten infinitely better since the birth of her 20-month-old twins, Max and Emme.
"I've played a mom, and I've had kids in movies before, but now you understand it in a different way," Lopez, 40, tells "Extra" as she and hubby Marc Anthony kick-off.
The NFL Season with the Miami Dolphins. "The trick to acting is actually not to act. That's the trick -- now I don't have to act.
Now I can just be, and it makes it better." Giving birth has also helped Lopez grow as a singer.
"You're just a different person after you have children and it just affects the way you think and the way you feel and the way you view things," she says.

It seems that Latino pop star Jennifer Lopez may have been stretching the truth about not having a nanny for her kids, for the singer and hubby Marc Anthony were recently spotted partying late night and hanging out on the beach- sans kids.
The perception may be that anything goes for private jet travelers, but as Jennifer Lopez is finding out, there are some limits to what you can get away with aboard a private jet. Marc Anthony has hit the road promoting his upcoming “Juntos En Concierto” tour and during a phone-in with “The Billy Bush Show,” he offered an update on his three-month old twins Emme and Max.
Jennifer Lopez gave birth to the twins at a Long Island hospital on February 22. The hospital's official name was not disclosed.
