Rotten Tomatoes 2 and a half stars” The Back-Up Plan’s” blunt honesty about the messiness of pregnancy is refreshing. It’s a shame that the movie couldn’t find a similarly refreshing way to tell its uninspired love story.

Starring Alex O’Loughlin and Jennifer Lopez, Alan Poul’s romantic comedy The Back-up Plan remained at the top of the North American box-office chart on Wednesday, earning $832K (-18.7%) according to figures found at Box Office Mojo.

Featuring the voices of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, and Gerard Butler, How to Train Your Dragon grossed $737K at 2. At 3, the Aaron Johnson adventure flick Kick-Ass drew $703K, followed by the Steve Carell-Tina Fey comedy of errors Date Night, up one spot, with $656K.

Coming just as she promotes her soon to be released movie "The Back-Up Plan," Jennifer Lopez has been awarded the honor of Us Hot Hollywood's Style Icon of the Decade. Responding to the title, the 40-year-old singer/actress tells Us Weekly, "It's an incredible honor! When they told me, I was just like, 'Really? Oh, my god! That's so awesome.' It's just so great for me, because I really do love fashion, and I have since I was a little girl."

Joining J Lo in receiving honorable distinctions from the annual issue were "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara as The Sophisticated Siren, as well as "Twilight" cutie Nikki Reed as The Colorful Coquette.

CBS has provided more sneak peek at Jennifer Lopez's guest stint on "How I Met Your Mother" through a video preview. The video compiles some of the scenes between the songstress' Anita and Neil Patrick Harris' Barney and captures how she plays "hard to get" with him, making him fall for her literally.

In the episode to be aired March 8 on CBS, the 40-year-old singer will be seen attempting to "tame" Barney after Robin tells her how he acts toward women. Her character is been described as "a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to train men into relationship machines through the power of denial".

Jennifer Lopez has shot her cameo appearance for the "Of Course" episode in early February. Sharing his fun experience shooting with the "Louboutins" singer, series regular Neil Patrick Harris tweeted, "Jennifer Lopez was really great - hot, cool, and funny. And well prepared! She gave me a few pointers."

The ‘Jenny From The Block’ singer — who gave birth to son Max and daughter Emme on February 22 — has convinced husband Marc Anthony to give Tom the role despite their differences in religious beliefs. Tom, a devout follower of the mysterious religion of Scientology; Lopez and Anthony Catholic.

A source said: “Tom is delighted. Marc wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to have a Scientologist as the kids’ godfather, especially as he and Jennifer are both Catholic. But in the end Jennifer managed to convince him to agree.”

When a celebrity of Jennifer Lopez' magnitude refuses to breastfeed, hundreds of new moms can't help but make a mental note.

Hopefully, they won't follow egocentric diva's advice.

Jennifer Lopez was very vocal about her choice not to breastfeed in her People magazine interview.

The new mom to one-month-old twins Max and Emme said, “My mom didn’t breast feed and I think that was the thing for me. You read and figure out what’s the best thing for them.”

Our mothers are full of wonderful advice on babies, but a lot has changed in the past few decades. There are probably a lot of things Jennifer’s mom did with her that are now not just old-fashioned, but considered plain wrong by medical experts. The American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Dietetic Association, and the World Health Organization say the best thing for babies is to be breastfed. Even the formula companies agree!

Of course, it's J.Lo's god-given right to do what she thinks is best for her. When she's alone and baby-less. But when babies come, it's only natural to think beyond your famous assets.

In fact, the real reason why J-Lo refuses to breastfeed is that she wants to keep her body in top-notch condition. She said she was training to compete a triathlon in six months because she wants her “babies to be proud” of her.

As if babies are proud that their mom spent hours with a personal trainer daily!

The singer/actress has rehired celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson to help her get in shape for the grueling challenge.

"Jennifer called Gunnar, who lives in Beverly Hills, and asked him to get on a plane as soon as possible to come to New York,” People magazine says, "J.Lo flew Gunnar first class and paid him at least $75,000″ for the “exercise emergency,” revealed the insider... Gunnar has Jennifer doing different high-cardio workout programs at her home gym for an hour to an hour and a half every day.”

If Jennifer Lopez chose not to breastfeed for personal reasons, that is her business, but it really isn’t what is best for the babies. It isn't best for hundreds of new moms who copycat celebrities in every crazy thing they do. No wonder that the U.S. has some of the lowest breastfeeding rates among civilized countries!

I have no doubt though that little Max and Emme will be nurtured - and that they will survive. But will they be healthier? Or happier knowing that their mom spent hours in a gym instead of enjoying every minute with them?

Not that we really give a shit what this woman thinks, but it seems that Jennifer Lopez's pregnancy has pushed her levels of self-importance to heights that even 'Jenny from the block' would have shuddered at

Yes, J.Lo, who gave us her stupid name back in 2001 when she made it the name of her second album, now doesn't want to be known by the ridiculous contraction any more.

It is being reported that the singer-actress and her husband, Skeletor from 'He-Man', are insisting that People magazine, who have foolishly forked out $6m for the rights to print the first pictures of the couple's twins, aren't allowed to refer to her as J.Lo ever again. You came up with the name in the first place, you idiot!

The magazine is denying the story, but I guess it serves them right for giving the pompous bitch $6m in the first place. For that amount of money you'd hope to be able to call her anything you liked.
