While Jennifer Lopez is still unsure if she is returning to the judging panel for season eleven of American Idol on FOX, rumors are starting to emerge that the triple threat may be getting replaced by Shakira. Keep reading for more!

We know that both Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler have been confirmed for the new season of American Idol, Jennifer Lopez’s fate on the panel still remains up in the air. The singer and mom of three year old twins has a very busy schedule and American Idol may not fit in this season as she tries to juggle multiple gigs.

 

According to The Daily Mail, as Jennifer continues to stall on contract negotiations for season eleven, Fox is being forced into looking for a replacement – just in case of course. Insiders are saying that Shakira is high on that list, followed by Shania Twain, but again that is only if Jennifer Lopez does not sign on for another season.

 

While we don’t know whether or not Jennifer Lopez will sign a new contract, we do know that she will be starring in the new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” as well as running her own reality show with her husband Marc Anthony. Jennifer remains busy with her music career as well, so whatever her decision, fans will never have a shortage of her!
