Jennifer Lopez has signed on for her second season as an American Idol judge, She will share the panel with returning judge Steven Tyler and veteran judge Randy Jackson. Lopez is the last of the three to be confirmed for the Fox hit show. This comes a week after Tyler and Jackson's confirmation. An insider told E! to expect an official statement very soon.

Lopez has been open about her apprehension to rejoin Idol. "I don't know. I haven't been forced to make a decision and I'm glad about that because honestly I'm very on the fence about it," she said in a June interview with Scott Mills of BBC Radio 1.
Audiences saw a softer side to the "On the Floor" singer during her stint on the first season. She became visibly upset at having to eliminate contestants. Her response watching contestant Chris Medina leave, whose fiancée is in a wheelchair following an accident, was especially heartfelt. Only time will tell if this is the same type of judge Lopez will be in her second season on the panel.
