A glimmering Jennifer Lopez showed everyone how it is done at the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards November 7, 2011. The awards were held at one of New York's most historic landmarks, Carnegie Hall in midtown Manhattan, and the 42-year-old singer-actress dressed appropriately for the occasion, choosing a cream Atelier Versace gown with thigh-high slit and beadwork.
The halter-style dress gave J.Lo a chance to flaunt her always-toned arms, but the slit on the side ensured all eyes would be on the famous Lopez gams. Her makeup was kept to smoky and pastel colors on the lids, and neutral blush and pout. The pallette pretty much complemented the soft hue of the dress without going OTT. Her long tresses were worn down and gave the mom-of-two some added drama while Jimmy Choo heels completed the look.
Jennifer got the All-Star award presented by designer Donatella Versace. With the tumultuous split from husband Marc Anthony firmly behind her, she certainly looks as if pressure has nothing on her! Graceful, stylish, and always beautiful, there's no one we'd have rather seen win. Brava.
