Since Jennifer Lopez's recent split from husband Marc Anthony, she has been romantically linked to several gentlemen, most recently backup dancer Casper Smart. "Yes, they are dating and having a good time," a source told People magazine of Lopez and Smart. "They've been getting more open with their flirting for weeks."
But just because Lopez is dating, doesn't mean she's making any long term plans, another source told People that Lopez considers Smart to be a "fun fling" and believes, "It's not meant to turn into anything more."
Smart was a backup dancer in Lopez's performance on "American Idol" in May (pictured above) and has also performed in films like "Honey 2," "Step Up 3D" and "Dance Flick" and on television series like "Glee" and "How I Met Your Mother."
According to his Facebook profile, Smart has also performed backup for Beyonce, Pink, Eminem, Sean Paul, Toni Braxton and Jordin Sparks.
On Friday, the Los Angeles-based dancer and choreographer performed with Lopez and the JLo Dancers in Palo Alto, Calif. He also performs regularly at Club Boulevard in Los Angeles and according to Us Weekly, Smart is "popular with the ladies because he goes shirtless."
Lopez announced her split from Anthony in July. Lopez, 42, and Anthony, 43, did not specify a reason for the split. The two married in June 2004 and their twin son and daughter, Max and Emme, were born in February 2008.
Lopez has been married twice before but has no other children other than her and Anthony's twins. She was married to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998. Lopez also wed actor and dance choreographer Cris Judd in 2001. They divorced in 2003.
The actress was recently spotted with actor Bradley Cooper but the two have not commented on the nature of their relationship. Lopez recently finished filming "What To Expect When You're Expecting," which stars Cameron Diaz. She will also return as a judge on "American Idol" when the music competition returns for its eleventh season.
The Bronx-born beauty also recently launched a fall 2011 collection for Kohl's department stores. Clothes from the line went on sale on September 7. The performer has already achieved fashion acclaim with her JLO by Jennifer Lopez and JustSweet lines.
