Jennifer Lopez has opened up about the terrifying experience she went through after discovering a lump on her daughter’s head in 2008. Speaking about her daughter Emme’s health scare, J-Lo said she felt she was “going to die” when she first found the lump shortly after her twins were born. Jennifer told CNN: “I just remember that feeling of, ‘Something is wrong with that baby and I'm gonna die’. “I remember looking at Marc and going, ‘We should call the doctor’.”
She continued: “I started panicking a little bit and he was panicking, too, because we were thinking, ‘Did somebody drop her when we weren't looking?’
“I just remember looking at him and saying, ‘If Emme's not going to be okay, I'm not going to be okay’. And he’s like, ‘I'm not going to be okay - none of us are going to be okay’.”Jennifer and Marc took Emme to the hospital, where she underwent a series of tests and an MRI scan, but the adorable little girl, now three, got the all clear. J-Lo said the health scare was one of the reasons why she and Marc – who she is now divorcing – launched the Maribel Foundation, which is named after Marc’s sister and medically supports women and children.
